Our Javascript "Snow Effect" generates a very realistic impression by rendering random single snowflakes from photos of snowflakes. The turbulence effect is also produced through random generated values and, in combination with a variable dynamic acceleration of the snowflakes, gives the animation its realistic appeal.

      Integration & Konfiguration

To include it in your website simply add the files and have a look into the "index.html". There you see which css/script files to include and how to call the snow simulation init method "goAdorSnow" from within the jquery ready method to have it start when all required loading is completed.

You can adapt the appearance of your snow effect by using our configurator at http://snow-effect.com/
Adjust it all to your needs and copy the resulting function call for "goAdorSnow" into your site.

Please pay attention to the Foreground/Background setting resulting in the second parameter of the funciton call switching between a high positive and negative number. If you render your snow onto your own div you might want to click "Foreground" to get the snow visible in front of your div or you just adapt that value yourself. It's a simple z-value for the snow rendering layer.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact us: kontakt@ador-design.de

We are very interested in where you finally use our snow simulation to get an idea where people use it and how it does look on different sites.
If you like we appreciate it f you tell us about it:
